  76. Title: Enhancing Student Engagement in Online Learning through Gamification Strategies

    Introduction:
The shift to online learning has presented challenges in maintaining student engagement. This action research project aims to explore the effectiveness of gamification strategies in enhancing student engagement in online learning environments.

    Methodology:
Participants were students enrolled in an online course in a university setting. The course material was structured around weekly modules, each containing readings, videos, and quizzes. Gamification elements were integrated into the course design, including points, badges, leaderboards, and virtual rewards.

The research employed both quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the impact of gamification on student engagement. Quantitative data was collected through pre- and post-implementation surveys measuring student motivation, participation rates, and perceived enjoyment of the course. Qualitative data was gathered through focus group discussions to gain insights into students' experiences with gamification.
    Results:
Quantitative analysis revealed a significant increase in student engagement following the implementation of gamification strategies. Participation rates in discussions and completion of assignments showed marked improvement
    Conclusion:
The findings of this action research project suggest that gamification strategies can effectively enhance student engagement in online learning environments. By integrating elements of game design into course structures, educators can create more dynamic and motivating learning experiences for students. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term effects of gamification and its applicability across different educational contexts.

  84. The title that I would like to propose in relation to action research problem in educational technology is "Enhancing the Engagement of Students in Online Learning Environments through Gamification"

Problem: Although online learning environments are becoming more and more common, it can be difficult to keep students motivated and engaged in virtual classrooms. In order to increase student motivation and engagement, this action research project will investigate how well gamification components like leaderboards, interactive quizzes, and badges work in online courses.
This type of studying could help the students participate more in the class and which would in turn help them study faster. Nowadays children are used to playing games and they always are competing with each other this will help them to also inculcate various interests in their school field too.
